LCSW Supervision

Are you currently an LCSW candidate in Colorado seeking clinical supervision hours? If so, I'm happy to help you with your licensure journey.

I offer both individual and group supervision hours that can be tailored to fit your schedule and specific needs. My supervision style is flexible and aims to support you in achieving your goals as a clinician.

I particularly enjoy facilitating group sessions as they provide an opportunity for us to learn from each other's experiences and areas of focus. My expertise is in school social work, particularly with students receiving special education services under an Individual Education Plan (IEP).

As a school social worker, I see myself as an advocate for students throughout their school day. Additionally, I offer professional development courses that explore the use of a Neurodivergent Affirming approach in mental health services and school buildings, from a social justice and systems perspective.

I'm excited to learn about your passions and goals as a social worker and how I can support you in becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

If you're interested in working together, please feel free to contact me and schedule a FREE chat to see if I'm the right fit for you!

Welcome to our Social Connection Group!

The Exploring Neurodivergent Identity group is facilitated by Hannah Higgins She/Her, LCSW and Emma Meador She/They, MS CCC-SLP. Hannah and Emma both self-identify as Neurodivergent and queer individuals. As a therapist and previous school social worker, Hannah is passionate about providing a Neurodiverent-affirming therapeutic approach and working with adults around the challenges associated with being Neurodivergent in today's society. Emma is a speech/language therapist specializing in Neurodivergent communication and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Emma is passionate about equity and justice in communication, ensuring that all communication styles and modes are honored.

In this virtual support group we will…

  • Connect with other Neurodivergent identifying adults (ages 19+)
  • Learn about Neurodivergence/Neurodiversity using a social justice lens.
  • Explore parts of your identity, including Neurotype, communication style, gender, sexuality, race, culture, and more.
  • Enhance self advocacy skills, social boundaries, and overall self-esteem!

What to expect

The group will meet Wednesday evenings through 8/28/2024 - 10/16/2024 virtually on Zoom for one hour 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm mountain time. Members of the group will be emailed a Zoom link prior to the meeting every Wednesday. The group will accept up to 8 members total, and will be the same group members each week so that we can build safety, trust and connection with each other.

Each week the group will discuss a different topic related to Neurodivergence, connecting with others, and enhancing identity/self-esteem. This may look like group members identifying and discussing potential barriers that may limit social connection and ways Neurodiverent people can access preferred social connection. We will also identify and reflect on the different qualities and attributes within ourselves, while developing communication tools that can support self-advocacy skills and overall communication.

Once you have registered to be part of the group, Hannah Higgins will contact you to schedule a brief intake assessment prior to starting the group (about 20 minutes). This is so that we learn about your goals, interests, and support needs prior to joining the group. There is no fee for the intake portion. During the intake assessment Hannah will also provide a client contract and collect payment information.

Please reach out to Hannah Higgins at Hannah@hannahrosetherapy.com with any additional questions! We are excited to see you there!
