LCSW Supervision
Are you currently an LCSW candidate in Colorado seeking clinical supervision hours? If so, I'm happy to help you with your licensure journey.
I offer both individual and group supervision hours that can be tailored to fit your schedule and specific needs. My supervision style is flexible and aims to support you in achieving your goals as a clinician.
I particularly enjoy facilitating group sessions as they provide an opportunity for us to learn from each other's experiences and areas of focus. My expertise is in school social work, particularly with students receiving special education services under an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
As a school social worker, I see myself as an advocate for students throughout their school day. Additionally, I offer professional development courses that explore the use of a Neurodivergent Affirming approach in mental health services and school buildings, from a social justice and systems perspective.
I'm excited to learn about your passions and goals as a social worker and how I can support you in becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
If you're interested in working together, please feel free to contact me and schedule a FREE chat to see if I'm the right fit for you!

Meet Hannah
Hello, my name is Hannah Higgins She/Her. In my free time, I enjoy connecting with nature, knitting, and spending time with my Cavalier King Charles, Dosi.
As someone who identifies as Neurodivergent and with multiple disabilities, finding a therapist who fully understood my experience while acknowledging the impact of systemic barriers on mental health was a challenge.
My previous experience as a school social worker in the Denver Metro region inspired me to challenge traditional school ideologies to better support students and families. Consequently, I established my private practice, Hannah Rose Therapy with a focus on providing Neurodivergent-affirming therapeutic approaches for ages 15 and up.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to schedule a Free 20-minute consultation to determine if I am the right therapist for you. I am excited to connect with you soon!

*Why therapist and not pathologist? A note from Emma on terminology:
The official title for my job is speech-language pathologist. This means that I am qualified to diagnose and treat disorders of speech and language. There are times when this is the most appropriate way to describe what I do. For example, if someone is recovering from a stroke, I would be able to diagnose and treat their aphasia.
However, in the context of neurodivergence, I take issue with the implication that autism, ADHD, and other neurotypes are disorders. I refer to myself as a speech-language therapist instead, because I see my role as supporting skill building, self-advocacy, and acceptance, much the way any therapist would. You will likely still see me refer to myself as an SLP, because this term is widely recognized, and I've made the decision that it's worth it to me to have the clarity of communication.
